Children's Church
Children's Church is for children aged 4 through 4th grade during our 10 a.m. worship service after the Children's Story. During our worship time children offer their own prayers and learn Christian songs. After worship, we have a snack, story time/Bible lesson and a craft.
Handbells
New this year, Central Congregational has purchased children's handbells. We are so excited to bring this unique instrument to the children. We will have a children's handbell class immediately after Children's Church from 11:00 – 11:30 am during the coffee hour.
Nursery
Nursery care is provided from 8:45 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. in our child-friendly Christian education wing. The nursery is an important ministry of our church and serves children birth through preschool.
Young Families
We plan special events for our young families group including outdoor picnics.
Youth
Mike and Jonathan, two outstanding young men, are developing an active group of high school youth committed to serving Christ. But they are also a lot of fun. Their dad, Jon, also helps out by leading the group in a Bible study class each Sunday at 4:30 p.m. The Bible study is followed by the youth meeting and a light supper.
Visit the Youth section for more information.
Adult
At this time we are offering two adult Bible study classes on Sundays. Both are welcoming, informal settings where you are encouraged to ask questions within a supportive community of faith. Often at other times of the year, such as during Lent, we will also offer Bible studies during the week.
8:45 a.m. - A study of the gospel of Matthew led by lay members of our church.
4:30 p.m. - Experiencing the Bible Again for the First Time Bible Study
